From the Colonel's Regiment

May 18th, 2001. Only fourteen days after May 4th, 2001. An ordinary date to many, but to a group of four bright-eyed lads from the North (and three from the South), that date marked the first beginning of an adventure that is still, even now, in the adventuring process. But little did they know at the time what plans were a foot for them!

For it was on May 20th, 2001 that these four lads, and the other three, were first introduced to the Colonel. A sorbet confection of such integrity, inspiration, dynamism, and integrity, that they were immediately resolved to enter its service in a very real and legally binding sense.

Every 6 months since May 21st, 2001, or thereabouts, the Colonel reveals a new mission to the Regiment. Somewhere, usually reachable by budget airline, a mission is to be attempted. And we, who are the Colonel's Regiment, will be the ones to attempt it.

2007-01-23 : Reykjavik flights are now booked for May, 2007.

2006-12-13 : Reykjavik is elected Host City for the 13th Mission of the Colonel's Regiment, Summer 2007.

2006-11-27 : Reykjavik is elected Reardon's Destination for the 13th Mission of the Colonel's Regiment, Summer 2007. Budapest becomes Gløgg's Reardon Helpimede.

2006-10-20 : Helsinki flights are now booked for December, 2006.

2006-05-08 : Helsinki is elected Host City for the 12th Mission of the Colonel's Regiment, Winter 2006.

2006-02-27 : Berlin is elected Reardon's Destination for the 12th Mission of the Colonel's Regiment, Winter 2006. Riga becomes Gløgg's Reardon Helpimede.

2006-02-09 : Gdańsk flights booked. It really is Gdańsk next time!

2005-12-17 : Gdańsk is elected Host City for the 11th Mission of the Colonel's Regiment, Summer 2006.


2005-10-30 : Helsinki is elected Reardon's Destination for the 11th Mission of the Colonel's Regiment, Summer 2006. Helsinki also becomes Gløgg's Reardon Helpimede.

2005-05-22 : Zürich is elected Host City for the 10th Mission of the Colonel's Regiment, Winter 2005.
