Plethora

"Plethora" literally means "a lot". It is a word usually used to make yourself sound more intelligent than everyone else, since very few people seem to know what it means. El Guapo uses this to his advantage in the movie "Three Amigos!", by asking his sidekick, Jefe, if he has a plethora of pinatas. Jefe attempts to bluff his way out of the situation by saying that he does have a plethora, but El Guapo cleverly catches him out by asking him what a plethora is.
